The Hastings Budgerigar Society was formed in 1980 by a small group of dedicated fanciers.  Since then it has grown into a small but friendly society catering for all the needs of the hobby.

 

This means simple but practical advice on all the aspects of feeding, keeping & showing budgerigars.  

 

We pay special attention to those members who have just started the hobby.  For those who wish to go and exhibit their birds we have two main shows a year, where numerous awards can be won.  We also have small table shows throughout the year at our monthly meetings.

 

Our members not only come from Hastings but from Ashford, Eastbourne Sandwich & Maidstone.

 

Our meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month at Northiam Village Hall, Northiam, East Sussex. TN31 6LP.

 

Every month all paid up members receive a newsletter informing then of forthcoming meetings and events.  This can also be used if any member has birds or equipment they wish to sell or indeed require.
